Ballybawn Cashel

Ballybawn Cashel (Boden Park Finnard x Aran Kilchreast) was the first purchase upon our return from the U.S in 1993

It is from this mare and carefully selected stallions that we have bred: Cashelbay JJ (7 times winner at HOYS and winner of The Horse & Hound Horse Of A Lifetime award 2023), Cashelbay Brook (Dam of Ashbrook Thunder) Cashelbay Princess and many more

Our third purchase was the inimitable Coosheen Pheasant (Callowfeenish Mairtin x Coosheen Swallow).

Coosheen Pheasant needs hardly any introduction breeding such names as Cashelbay Prince, Cashelbay Cruise, Cashelbay Mary, Cashelbay Irish Promise and many more.

Now in retirement Ballybawn Cashel has nothing to prove to anyone and spends her days relaxing out on the farm, grazing, rolling, dozing and chastising the younger ponies. This mare have given us so much over the years that it is an honour for us to wait upon her in her well deserved retirement
