Robbie
Robbie has always been at the helm of Cashelbay from it’s initial inception through to the present. It was always his ambition to produce high quality Connemara Ponies for an Irish and international market, and through hard work and patience throughout the years, his ambition has become a reality, breeding high end performance ponies that fly the flag for Connemara’s in Ireland, Britain, Italy, U.S.A and Sweden to name but a few, and was awarded HOYS Connemara Breeder of The Year in 2012.
Since 1993 Robbie has bred such names as: Cashelbay Prince, Cashelbay Cruise, Cashelbay Rocket, Cashelbay JJ, Cashelbay Clancy, Cashlebay Comet and many many more making the Cashelbay name famous worldwide!
Michael
Michael is the general manager of Cashelbay Stud, managing not only the day to day duties of a stud farm but also the producing and competing of the performance ponies at a national and international level with wins under his belt such as: Clifden, Dublin, Balmoral, HOYS, Olympia and many more.
Awarded Handler of the year at Clifden Show 2017 Michael is currently a sponsored rider for Bailey’s Horse Feeds, Equestrian Portable Showers Ireland, The Irish Equine Rehabilitation and Fitness Centre, and Botanica International Ltd.
