In the first Council elections since the AGM, Dermot Power has been returned as President of the organisation, with Ann Reade and John Riordan being successfully elected to the chairs of Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Two Council members resigned their seats: Tomás Mac Lochlainn and Mossie Joyce. Some committees were not formed, as members were not prepared to fill the positions.
